Axiom Health & Fitness in Brookfield, Wisconsin has the right equipment for fitness training and lifestyle enhancement.

Our 5,500-square-foot fitness center is equipped with top-quality fitness machines and equipment such as Freemotion and Keiser.

Our equipment is designed for core strengthening, muscle building and toning, and cardiovascular and aerobic health. We'll work with you to use the equipment your body needs, and at the right level your body.

The Axiom fitness center has men's and women's locker rooms with showers.

We also have a lounge where you can enjoy one of our delicious renovation drinks, granola or other snacks after a workout.

The Axiom fitness center is conveniently located at Stonewood Village along Capitol Drive in Brookfield.

 

 

Good Nutrition is Key to Good Health

Nutrition is a very important component of your health. Whether you want to lose weight or improve athletic performance food, water and supplements are the fuel your body needs to function at optimal levels. Sound nutrition is vital to living a full life.

At Axiom Health & Fitness, we teach clients to understand that food, water and supplements are fuel for the body. The human body is a machine that needs consistent fueling to maintain proper energy levels and function.

Practice Moderation

We understand it is not always easy or convenient to eat healthy. But even if you can't eat well all the time, think in terms of moderation. We believe that moderation is best when seeking long-term health, fitness and performance.

If you are not currently eating healthy, just start by incorporating healthy food in small increments. Start drinking more water each day. If you put more goodness into your body and gradually increase the goodness, eventually cravings for bad food will go away. We know this happens because the human body naturally craves good foods.

Having bad nutrition is a result of poor habits that you have developed over time. Your body adjusted to those bad foods and developed a craving for them. So, if you can reverse the process of consuming bad food and start consuming good food you will regain control of your cravings and be on your way to sound nutrition.

Nutrition for fitness and performance:

Facts:

  • The body uses food and water and converts it into energy or ATP.
  • The body's energy levels must be replenished every 2.5-3 hours.
  • Each time you eat and drink, your metabolism goes up.

Nutrition Guidelines/Tips:

  • Eat every 2.5-3 hours, 5-6 times per day.
  • Food portions must be the size of your fist.
  • Drink at least 80 fluid ounces of water per day.
  • Eat whole foods: fruit, vegetables, nuts, dairy, lean meats, eggs, whole grains.
  • Supplementation: multivitamins, Omega 3 fish oil, probiotics, and protein recovery drinks will help your body. 
  • Prepare your food in advance to make it convenient. Pack healthy food every day.
